Update: This project is dead. I want my data back!!!!

This isn’t clickbait! There’s actually an email service provider (ESP) that’s free.

CreatorHive - https://creatorhive.me

So, I went throught the process to make an account. And I’m going to tell you what I think so far…

Pros

  1. It is free. I mean, it’s damn hard to complain when something is free.
  2. It’s damn simple compared to other ESPs that require a PHD. (of course, you could also argue that it’s missing features.
  3. It works with RSS, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and even TikTok.
  4. It automatically send out emails in real-time, daily or weekly - subscriber’s choice.
  5. It shows you how big your list is getting.
  6. It gives you a cool looking page for your subscribers to sign up - https://creatorhive.me/emailhacking
  7. The emails that go out to your subscribers are pretty cool looking for the most part.

Cons

  1. I HAVE to send people to their website to signup. Kinda lame that there’s no forms.
  2. I can’t customer the page that I send subscribers to. I can change the text, but I’m locked in to their background image.
  3. I can’t access my email subscribers. That’s kind of my biggest gripe.
  4. I can’t actually do a blast or anything like that, it JUST scans my RSS feed or social media pages and does a blast for me. Cool maybe?

It looks like CreatorHive is geared towards bloggers and creators. I’d imagine that they are going to add in more features. To be honest, I would use it WAY more if I could get access to my email list data AND if I could add forms to my website. This would probably be great for the OnlyFans creators to get more subs? I don’t know, I’m not in that space. haha!

I’m going to give it a shot, but I don’t think that it’s going to meet my needs for this website. But hey, it’s definitely worth checking out. Nag the devs, maybe if we all collectively say that we WANT those features…you know enough voices and all that.
